Apologies for the Rant-y Update, BUT...
Jen: August 27th - Place order for hot shoes. There's a chance they'll arrive in time for a party I'm going to in early September, if I pay extra for expidited delivery (which is almost as much as the order itself). I fork it out; will definitely be worth it if they make it in time!
CutesyGirl: August 27th - Send automated email receipt. It ends with "You will be receiving an email shortly containing your shipment details." I don't.
Jen: September 8th - Shoes didn't arrive in time for party. Shipment details email never arrived. Send an email to customer service asking for an update.
Jen: September 9th - No reply, so wondering if their customer service email has issues. Send a message via their online form.
Jen: September 10th - No response to customer service. Figure out that I can look up my order via their website; however it says that it was sent via UPS on August 27th... but also that USPS has only received the order info, not the actual package to send. I send another email to customer service.
CutesyGirl: September 11th - Melissa replies to my September 9th message asking for my order number.
Jen: September 11th - Reply to Melissa immediately with my order number.
Jen: September 12th - Follow up response to Melissa with another email.
CutesyGirl: September 15th - Another reply, but not in reference to the first. Gloria says she'll check with the shipping department and get back to me shortly.
Jen: September 16th - Follow up with Gloria to prompt a response from yesterday's "check with the shipping department".
Jen: September 18th - Send a formal complaint email, asking for someone to figure out where my parcel is and contact me on Monday (US time... I'm not unrealistic).
Jen: September 22nd - It's 9:30pm, Monday, September 21st, their time. I'm guessing my Monday update isn't coming... I'm bored with this now.
Jen: September 22nd - Leave messages for Cutesy Girl on their Twitter and Facebook accounts.
CutesyGirl: September 23rd - Facebook person responds, saying they'll chase up the shipping people.
CutesyGirl: September 24th - No explanation as to why it's a month late, or offer of refund or credit, but Cutesy Girl FINALLY send my order, via UPS. However, they - for no apparent reason - decide to give UPS only half of my address... so they know which building to deliver to, but not which floor or office. For fucks sake. REALLY?
Jen: September 28th - Whilst checking to see where UPS are at with my parcel (which has arrived in Sydney, but then gone to Brisbane before coming back to Sydney again), I notice the error with my address, so contact Cutesy Girl asking them to contact UPS to amend. Response? Pfft. Of course not. I also ask for the contact details of a manger. Fuming!
UPS: Try to deliver my parcel but obviously don't know which floor or suite to deliver to... so they leave, and update my order to say they need more information which they'll try to source. I have no way of contacting them, and clearly Cutesy Girl hasn't bothered either.
Jen: Send another email to Cutesy Girl asking them to sort out the address issue. Send a message to the Facebook account (seeing as it was the only way I got assistance last time) asking them to get someone to sort out the address problem, and to provide me with a manager's contact details. After this long, and this many mistakes, I'm expecting my order AND a full refund. People are such wankers. Seriously! ............................................. UPDATE: How exciting! UPS have taken pity and are lettting me change the address details even though they technically need to hear it from the sender. I might actually get this parcel yet. Am still going on the hunt for a partial refund though. Grrrr.

Today I paid off my credit card, bought a new whisk that impressed me far more than whisks should, and remembered to work out as soon as I got home to avoid winding down then vetoing it altogether. Being grown up is weird.
